Dr Wadley will discuss your history to learn and understand more about you, perform an examination of your lower limbs and feet and then have a discussion about your foot/ankle problem. This will enable her to form a plan to help you manage your problem.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Occasionally Dr Wadley may be running late due to an unforeseen surgical emergency, an operation running late or a complex patient. We would appreciate your patience in this circumstance and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Dr Wadley endeavours to provide each patient with the individual care and attention that is required.

Non Surgical Treatment
In many cases, the initial treatment may be a trial of non surgical measures or guidance if you require further imaging, physiotherapy or equipment such as a boot.

Surgery may be recommended if you have undergone non surgical treatment first and this is no longer effective or your problem is progressing. If you have had an acute injury, non surgical treatment may not be recommended. The surgery will be discussed with you in detail at the time of your consultation.

There is an initial consultation fee. Payment is required at the time of your appointment. Subsequent consultations have a decreased fee. You can claim a portion of this through Medicare and we can assist you with this at the rooms. Unfortunately private health funds do not rebate specialist appointments.

If you require surgery, the fee estimate will be provided at the time of your consultation, For surgical patients, there may also be an additional assistant fee, anaesthetic fee and hospital charges.
